ADSL Broadband

ADSL Broadband (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is delivered over an analogue phone line and is an entry-level business Broadband, and comes as ADSL or ADSL2+. It is used in small businesses where Internet use is low and only is used for small file transfers.

Capabilities of ADSL Broadband

ADSL is capable of maximum 512Kb or 1 Mb upload speed with internet use, this is equal to 1 to 2 VoIP telephone calls at once.

Pro: The installation is fast and cheap, and is mostly available everywhere in the UK.

Con: The speed can be greatly reduced by the distance from the cabinet, and it is not suitable for large files or/and users.
